Backed by its propriertary and in-house developed imaging technologies, LIMATA‘s system product portfolio ranges from DI system configurations for high-mix and emerging PCB niche applications up to fully automated DI system solutions for 24/7 mass production environments.

Supported by a dedicated in-house hardware, imaging application & software engineering team, LIMATA has developed a complete DI system product line for the PCB patterning and solder mask imaging process. Latest product innovations include the new X-Series platform (X1000 / X2000 / X3000) powered by the Company‘s unique and patented LUVIR imaging technology for the most efficient solder mask direct imaging (all inks and colors).  With staff, operations and sales partnerships in all key manufacturing regions, LIMATA serves its customer base locally supported by a dedicated engineering and applications team based in Munich (Germany).

Applications exposed on LIMATA equipment include all standard and advanced PCB as well as growing PCB applications in the area of oversized panels (Defense and Space / Mission critical applications) complemented by imaging of chem-mill (thin metal etching), and DCB (direct copper bonded).

X2 partnered with Limata in 2017, provided growth financing and has since then actively supported the team as lead-investor during the development and implementation of a new product strategy based on a new technology roadmap, the establishment of international sales channels (with a key focus on  the US and Asia), and during the build of a lean and scalable ops platform. In addition, X2 has brought in its partner network in the area of R&D/prototyping (new X-Series) and outsourced machine manufacturing (South-East Asia) further supporting the Company in the area of finance, supply-chain, key account management and sales on an ongoing basis.
